I bought a cute denim swing jacket today. It looks a little bit like this. But now I don’t know what pants I could wear with it. I can’t wear jeans, that would look silly. Black pants don’t seem right. Khaki pants would coordinate but that would be too preppy looking. I look bad in white pants (that’s what the model is wearing in the photo). I guess that leaves brown or gray? Forget it; I think I’ll just return it.

I’m going to a party tonight where I’m the guest of honor so I went shopping for something to wear. I haven’t gone clothes shopping for like 6 months (shoes excluded). I was so disappointed with what was in the stores. Of course, I was limited to what our little farm town has to offer: Target, NY&CO, Marshall’s, Old Navy. That’s it. But still, there was no style to be found in any of those stores. I wanted to get a mini-dress; not the slutty kind, but the kind you wear with leggings. I guess those are not in style anymore because I couldn’t find any! I’m just wearing what I already had in my closet :(
